Typical itinerary:
Day 1 – Masai Mara (L,D)
Early morning drive into the Great Rift Valley
past Narok to the seventh wonder of the world – The Masai Mara. You will pass huge herds of wildebeests and zebras. Lunch and dinner will be at the lodge which has fantastic views of the savannah. Afternoon game viewing at the reserve.
Day 2 – Masai Mara (B,L,D)
A full day of game viewing at the reserve where you will see the migration of wildebeests from the Serengeti. All the big five are here – lion, leopard/cheetah, elephant, rhino and buffalo. At the Mara River you will see the crocodiles and hippos wallowing in the water. Game viewing can be split into two sessions – early morning and afternoon or a full day game drive can be arranged
with picnic lunch.
Day 3 – Nairobi (B)
After an early morning game drive and breakfast you will depart for Nairobi through the Rift Valley in time for lunch.
